At Excellence Assisted Living Facility, every day is filled with joy and new adventures. Simply calling what we do activities does not properly encompass the fullness of our programs as they are daily experiences of integration, enjoyment and new connections. Social dinners, social lectures, integration activities, culture inclusion, computer classes, a reading club, gardening, and mentoring are among the list of experiences available. All of our programs are tailored around our residents’ hobbies and interests, providing them the opportunity to continue to take part in the activities they enjoyed at home, or try something new and empowering.
While senior living is not a medical model of senior living care, a complete array of medical services are provided in our communities including, medication management, maintaining medical records, physician care and dental procedures, onsite rehabilitation, among other specialized services. However, our residents may choose to have home health care provided in their apartment from an outside provider. Our staff is available to assist residents who experience memory, orientation, or judgment losses. Also, the staff has a clearly stated procedure for responding to a resident’s medical emergency.
